History Ink Tattoo, founded by acclaimed artist Marcy Nielsen and her husband, History Ink Tattoo is Edmonton’s newest tattoo haven. Marcy is an internationally recognized and published artist with a BFA in Fine Arts from the University of Alberta.
She has been featured in various publications and is one of only five Canadian artists to be featured in Nordic Black`s, “The Nordic Tattoo Volume 3”. This worldwide publication showcases the best Nordic and Celtic tattooers in the world. Marcy is known for her work in traditional and ancient design styles, such as Polynesian Tattooing and Nordic and Celtic tattoos. Marcy is also known for her Ornamental and Geometric work. Over the last two decades she has been supplying clients with world class designs and sleeves in all types of custom tattooing.
